Can guess what he have learned from that battle (i had have a lot of those battles in both sides):He have caused very little damage because he was killed fast because enemies were have number advantage because teammates died early because they were noobs while enemy players is no matter what flank and tactic he choice when all teammates are already don't cares about fair/unfair matchmaking and gameplay comfort. Matching people by their skill is hard but to match them by their game expierence/personal rating is an easy thing to do. Video, skip to 22:34 to get to the skill based matchmaking you cannot be bothered to watch the video, jingles basically says that if all the people were as good as him, then the only difference in game would be what tanks each team drive, and if the enemy team has better tanks, you will lose because everyone is as good as you and there won't be any ludicrous derp moments that should have resulted in you ending up dead but didn't..
